David Orobosa Omoregie, known professionally as Dave, is a London-born rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer who has redefined UK rap with his introspective lyricism, sharp social commentary, and cinematic storytelling. Emerging from Streatham, South London, Dave quickly rose to prominence with his emotionally charged freestyles and thought-provoking tracks, blending elements of grime, hip-hop, and UK drill.

His breakthrough came with the 2016 track “JKYL+HYD”, followed by collaborations with major artists like Drake on the remix of “Wanna Know.” His debut album, Psychodrama (2019), was a landmark release, winning the Mercury Prize and praised for its raw exploration of mental health, systemic racism, and personal struggles.
